Asian Dipping Sauce

ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons packed light brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup Asian fish sauce
  • 3 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 2 thinly sliced fresh Thai chiles (2 inches long) or 1/4 teaspoon dried hot red pepper flakes
  • 1 garlic clove, thinly sliced

directions

Stir together all ingredients in a bowl. Sauce keeps, covered and chilled, 1 week.
